Global Process Manager, Inc. (GPM), in collaboration with the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), conducted a two-day health and wellness event on October 20–21, 2025, at Times Plaza. 

 

Coordinated with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), this initiative aimed to enhance employee well-being by providing health screenings and services in accordance with PhilHealth’s YAKAP Program (Yaman ng Kalusugan Para Malayo sa Sakit). 

 

The YAKAP Program, launched earlier this year, expands on the Konsulta Program by providing enhanced access to essential primary care services in the Philippines. Key features include: 

• Expanded Coverage: YAKAP offers 75 essential medicines, increased from 21 in the previous program, and includes cancer screenings for colorectal, lung, liver, and breast cancer.
• Access to Services: The program aims to bring healthcare closer to communities, reducing the need for hospital confinement and ensuring timely treatment.
• Digital Integration: YAKAP is integrated into the eGov PH app, allowing members to register and access benefits digitally, enhancing convenience and accessibility.
• Community Focus: The program is designed to address gaps in healthcare access, particularly in rural and underserved areas, ensuring that everyone can access quality healthcare.

 

This event underscored GPM’s commitment to fostering a culture of health among employees. It reflected PhilHealth’s objective of making high-quality healthcare accessible to all Filipinos, ultimately contributing to the enhancement of public health across the nation.
