(GPM) delivered a dominant performance at the Magsaysay Sportsfest 2026 badminton tournament, capturing championship titles in both the Mixed Doubles and Women’s Doubles categories. Held on October 17, 2026, at the Smart Shot Badminton and Sports Center in Malate, Manila, the event proved that months of dedicated training ultimately pay dividends.

In the Mixed Doubles category, the powerhouse duo of Crew Payroll & Benefits Manager, Jerrymee S. Melad and SAP Specialist I, Andhie Villanueva secured the gold medal after an intense match against Team MSL’s Ramon A. Galang and Eureka Irish P. Ebbay. Meanwhile, the Women’s Doubles division culminated in a thrilling all-GPM finals, where GPM Senior HR Officer, Ruth Ezra De Leon and SAP Specialist I, Andhie Villanueva bested teammates Payroll Officer, Edelyn Ed Baclojan and Accounts Payable & Treasury Associate, Kristine Joy Barra to claim the top spot. Over in the Men’s Doubles division, Team MSL took home the gold after defeating Team AMI/MPRC.
