On May 24, 2023, the Nordic Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, Inc. (NordCham) held the Nordic Sustainability Awards Ceremony at Makati Diamond Residences. This evening was memorable for Global Process Manager Inc. (GPM) as it took home the Runner Up trophy in the Employer of the Year category.

Receiving the Runner Up trophy on behalf of GPM was its President, Mr. Erik M. Nielsen, who stated “This prestigious recognition was an honor for GPM to receive, and we thank the panel of esteemed judges for acknowledging how GPM works with contributing towards several U.N. SDG’s – notably those of providing gainful employment and upskilling our employees upon entry into our company. In 2022 GPM added almost 400 net positions to its workforce, and we are proud to register that 56% of all our employees are female. We will continue to work diligently with our contribution to the environment and the general betterment of the Philippine society – and hopefully win the top prize on a future occasion!”

The Nordic Sustainability Awards is held annually and aims to recognize the most sustainable businesses and individuals in the Philippines. The awards seek to acknowledge those who have made significant contributions to sustainability and are committed to achieving the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
