GPM New Year Toast 2026: Achieving new milestones
On January 16, 2026, Global Process Manager, Inc. (GPM) hosted its annual New Year's Toast at Times Plaza, marking a lively start to the year that combined reflection on past challenges with anticipation for the future. Amid cheers and clinking glasses, employees recognized the challenges they overcame in 2025 and shared sincere messages. The event emphasized GPM's growth and leadership in offshoring and IT services, establishing a clear and motivating direction for the company's objectives in the coming year.
Gratitude, Resilience, and Cheers from the Management Team
Maria Cecilia Gamos, Human Resources Head, delivered a heartfelt message recognizing the personal sacrifices employees made—balancing family, life, and health behind every challenge and deadline—while praising their unwavering presence in 2025 as the standout achievement. Looking to 2026, her simple wish is for continued learning from the past, caring for one another, and advancing together, capped by leading a "Go GPM!" chant to launch the year loud and proud.
Angel Ampil, Manager of Multimedia Services, echoed the sentiment, affirming the team's hard work in 2025 and noting how that dedication will carry momentum into 2026, encouraging everyone to keep contributing to GPM's success.
Ilde Dimailig, Assistant General Manager, offered three uplifting cheers—faith in vision and teamwork, hope to conquer challenges, and love for meaningful work—wishing everyone health and fruitfulness.
Ms. Johanne Portugal, Account Manager, praised GPM employees—kind colleagues who smile through shortages, deliver under pressure, and stay professional. "You always have an advantage in this company," she affirmed.
Paolo Del Mundo, Talent Acquisition Supervisor, kept it swift: "I wish GPM a prosperous year with growth, expansion, and the climax we've all been waiting for."
Jerrymee Melad, Crew Payroll & Benefits Manager, expressed deep thanks to Ma'am Cecile, Sir Erik, and management for their guidance, as well as his team's support throughout seven tough months. "Through hard work, we overcame—here's to happiness, health, and success in 2026."
Maria Criselda Velayo, General Manager, echoed the theme of perseverance, thanking all for navigating 2025's rough seas across departments and the nation. "We're still here, thriving because you pulled it off."
Management's Spotlight: Looking Back to Leap Forward
Erik Nielsen, GPM President, anchored the event with a concise yet data-packed address, using three slides to chart the company's 12-year journey. He highlighted GPM's transformation into an IT-centric firm, noting that 41% of its 726 client staff—over 300 professionals—are now in IT roles, up dramatically from just 5-10 when he joined 13 years ago. Amid global talent shortages, GPM achieved a stellar 92% retention rate in 2025, even for high-demand IT talent.
Nielsen reported that gross income has grown nearly tenfold over the past 11 years, with 91% driven by international clients. A pending banking contract is expected to elevate this growth further. EBITDA has continued to improve steadily, while net income after tax has fluctuated but showed a strong rebound in late 2025,” he stated. Lastly, he urged embracing AI for smarter work, joking it makes everyone "look smarter than you are," and rallied the team: "With your help, we can do it—let's toast to a great 2026!."
The toast capped a resilient day, reinforcing GPM's family-like bond and trajectory toward billion-peso milestones. As glasses rose, optimism filled the air—2026 promises transformation, retention triumphs, and shared victories.
