On November 21, 2025, the Fairmont–Magsaysay partnership marked an important milestone with the blessing of the new Fairmont-Magsaysay office, a ceremony that brought together leaders, partners, and guests from across the region. The event symbolized not only the formal opening of the office space, but also the strengthening of collaboration between Fairmont, the Magsaysay Group and Global Process Manager Inc. (GPM) as they continue to expand their shared vision for service excellence and global engagement. 

The ceremony was made even more meaningful with the presence of distinguished guests from Fairmont Hong Kong, notably, Michele Francisco, Sonjay Bairagi, and Ashish Kambo. Their attendance highlighted the deepening ties between the organizations and the commitment to fostering regional cooperation. Their visit underscored Fairmont’s support for the initiatives being developed through the new office and its role in future projects. 

Also in attendance was Doris Magsaysay-Ho, AMI President and GPM Chairman of the Board. In her remarks, she emphasized the values of innovation, people development, and partnership—principles that guide both Fairmont and Magsaysay as they  further pursue new opportunities together.  

After her message, the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held led by Doris Magsaysay Ho, Michele Francisco, Ashish Kambo, Sonjay Bairagi and GPM President, Erik M. Nielsen. The ribbon-cutting signified the official opening of the new office and the beginning of a strengthened chapter of cooperation. The office premises and next door meeting room as well as the coins were blessed by Father Juan Piarist Nasataya who offered a prayer while the guests holding lit candles, followed by the traditional coin-throwing ceremony, symbolizing prosperity, good fortune, and the hope for continued success for everyone who will work and collaborate in the new office. 

Guests also received an Inspirational Message from Erik M. Nielsen, who welcomed the new Fairmont-Magsaysay team to GPM. He emphasized the shared commitment to excellence, cross-regional partnership, and building a future rooted in trust and innovation.  

The event concluded with a warm and sumptuous merienda cena, giving attendees the opportunity to connect, reflect, and celebrate the beginning of this new journey.
