On January 3, Global Process Manager Inc. (GPM) celebrated the start of the year 2020 with the customary New Year’s Toast at the pantry of the 15th Floor of the Times Plaza.
GPM President Mr. Erik M. Nielsen briefly presented GPM’s accomplishments in 2019. He emphasized that the Living the Magsaysay Values roll-out as one of the significant activities of last year that he wishes to further continue into 2020. He also highlighted GPM’s acquisition of the 15th floor as another milestone of the past year; thus expanding our capacity. He reminded us of our latest client who joined the GPM fold last December. He also reported on the financial performance of GPM and how important customer retention was for our performance in 2019.
Mr. Nielsen also discussed his expectations for GPM this year. The biggest news for 2020 is the integration of operations of One Team Services Inc. (OTSI) into GPM. Effective January 1st, OTSI will now be part of GPM operations. This results in the GPM organic team growing from a head count of 40 last year to 95 this year. He also revealed GPM’s acquisition of the gym in the 18th floor to bolster our wellness program. He likewise announced to upgrade the workplace with new PCs and IT equipment with updated licenses to maximize our efficiency. He also disclosed that a new client will join the GPM family in the first quarter of 2020.
To these exciting trends in GPM’s near future, Mr. Nielsen posted a challenge to the GPM team to do their best and find ways to increase productivity and surpass the expected targets. After rallying the team, he led the team in singing the song, “Auld Lang Syne” as he raised his glass to toast an exciting 2020 ahead, and to welcome the new colleagues from OTSI.
